Before depositing at any online casino, take five minutes to read this checklist — it covers the steps most players skip. This guide walks you through the essential steps of using a popular poker and casino platform, focusing on practical details that can save you time and money.
Prerequisites
- Be at least 18 years old (legal gambling age in most jurisdictions).
- Have a valid email address and a phone number for verification.
- Ensure you have a stable internet connection and a compatible device (smartphone, tablet, or computer).
- Prepare a method for deposit and withdrawal (credit/debit card, e-wallet, or bank transfer).
- Understand that the platform is mobile-optimized; you can play directly from your browser without installing a native app, which is often called a progressive web app (PWA).
Registration
- Visit the official website of PokerStars (or access it via pokerstars7.com.es if you are on a review site).
- Click on the “Registrarse” (Register) button, usually located in the top right corner.
- Fill in the registration form with your personal details: name, date of birth, email, and create a unique username and password.
- Complete the KYC (Know Your Customer) process by providing a valid ID (passport, national ID, or driver’s license) and proof of address (utility bill or bank statement).
- Set up two-factor authentication (2FA) for an extra layer of security on your account.
- Make your first deposit to unlock the welcome bonus (if available) and start playing.
How Wagering Works
Wagering requirements are a condition attached to most bonuses. They specify how many times you must wager the bonus amount (and sometimes the deposit) before you can withdraw any winnings. For example, if you receive a bonus of 100 € with a 30x wagering requirement, you must place bets totaling 3,000 € (100 € × 30) before cashing out.
Let’s do a detailed calculation with real numbers. Suppose you deposit 50 € and get a 100% match bonus (50 € bonus). The total playable amount is 100 €. If the wagering requirement is 25x (on the bonus only), you need to wager 50 € × 25 = 1,250 €. Assuming you play a slot with an RTP (return to player) of 96%, you can expect to lose about 4% of each bet on average. So, your expected loss after wagering 1,250 € is 0.04 × 1,250 € = 50 €, meaning you might break even or lose slightly, but you have a chance to win.
If the wagering applies to deposit + bonus (50 € + 50 € = 100 €) with a 20x requirement, the total is 100 € × 20 = 2,000 €. This is a common condition, so always read the terms.
Payment Methods
The platform supports a variety of payment methods, including credit cards (Visa, Mastercard), e-wallets (Skrill, Neteller), and bank transfers. Some methods allow instant deposits, while withdrawals may take 1–5 business days depending on the option. Always check the available methods in your country.
| Método | Depósito | Retiro |
|---|---|---|
Is It Safe?
PokerStars operates under licenses from multiple jurisdictions, including the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) and the UK Gambling Commission. This ensures that the platform adheres to strict regulations on player protection and fair play. Additionally, the site uses SSL encryption (Secure Socket Layer) to protect your data during transactions.
Important: If you play from a region where the platform holds a Curacao license (rather than an EU license), keep in mind that winnings may be subject to local income tax, as Curacao does not withhold taxes for players. Always check your local tax laws.
Troubleshooting
